Here in the winter of my lovely years, although my age gives me a bit of fright, with needs to search out unexplored frontiers, I try to conquer goals with pure delight. Although my age gives me a bit of fright, refueled with hope for every brand new day, I try to conquer goals with pure delight... forget that winter age is in my way. Refueled with hope for every new day I live each waking moment to my best, forget that winter age is in my way; find stirring challenges to meet and test. I live each waking moment to my best, with needs to search out unexplored frontiers; find stirring challenges to meet and test... here in the winter of my lovely years. Sandra M. I do love your poetry Sandra. Your iambic pentameter always sings to me, and your words refresh my soul. I love your musings of growing towards winter - hope your 'unexplored frontiers' are filled with 'pure delight'. Hugs ~ John

Beautifully done, Mrs Sandra. I remember you saying how you like to paint. If you paint like you write poetry, you must have a few being displayed by now, You are certainly an accomplished poet:)

Thank you, Daniel, for the uplifting and complimentary comments. I was heavily involved in oil painting and art exhibits through the '70s and 80s, and sold many during that time. My children have some and the rest are hanging in my home. Presently, I do artwork on the computer like making greeting cards and collages of photographs, and things like that. Thanks again for all your support. Sandra
