Here I Stay
Live I here, a frosty glow,
Steams in and out of snow.
From where I look through the glass,
To the black wings of the crow.
As I walk I see the source,
The light that is oh so coarse.
For now remains a memory,
As a forgotten shining force
The crow I see looks down on me.
His beak reaches beyond his tree.
He sees the light behind my head
He sees the light that sets him free
The crow has now flown away
For the light has brought him astray
For now, here I stay.
For now, here I stay.
