Here and After
You want peace but peace here is abstract
Love this, love that and love all, but don’t love
For love here is an obstruct
An obstruction for the much more turmoil laughs
Laugh at this, laugh at that and laugh at all, but don’t laugh
For the pain that sipped through the bone is unimaginable
And imagination here is too luxurious an item
Though not having it is just but abominable
Smile so much and then skip a smile
Anything that curls up is weighed down by sorrows
Sorrows from across the miles and now in a pile
So if roses are smiles then sorrows be wine
Wine flowing deep in the veins to sooth the hurt cells
Cells of this and cells of that, but don’t cell any
For its just but you in an eternal cell of sorrows
Locked and sentenced to immortality without much as a penny
So read this and read that and read here after
After here is the flood that stormed after the storm
A flood of tears from cries or just dire laughter
The heart swells and the eyes wells but sorrow still dwells
Dwells deep in the marrows where the warmth is not
The heart is socked and so are we in grieve stricken spells
‘Cause the souls we once had we only once had
They went with the storm and took a bit of us all.
