Her Wall, Her Mountain
Sadness cascades down her mountain side,
An avalanche in her mind,
Raindrops of sadness fall to the ground,
Like tears from deep inside,
And she sits behind her wall of stone,
Alone inside her head,
She sits reliving her living hell,
Of what she heard and saw and said,
And nothing removes the voice she hears,
Those echoes are bound with rope,
There’s nothing her mind can do to stop,
It destroying all her hope,
So she cries alone with words inside,
“It’s my fault, I’m tired all the time,
This cascading mountain of falling hurt,
Is just too big to climb.”
