Her Sincere Faith In Me
sitting at her bedside feeding her soup
she is feeling better and i find her reading from my secret stash
i am wondering how she found it, but i am aware that when sick, one can remember forgotten things
she looks up at me with a look of shock and surprise
she says i should publish some of my stuff
i tell her she is talking crazy
she gives me that look that tells me she is not
then she takes my hand and tells me how talented she thinks i am
i remind her that i only do it for my own personal recreation
she laughs to a sudden coughing spell and then give me a punch on my left arm for "causing her to do so"
i hand her a glass of sunny d and shake my head at her sincere faith in me
i am motivated even further
we converse with the clock facing the corner wall
