Her Silence
she walked past you and you didn't notice anything wrong.
you didn't see the tears she had just wiped away,
or the weight she constantly held on her shoulders.
you couldn't see the scars she hid behind a crooked smile.
she kept to herself,
and kept quiet.
But now you see,
that her silence was the loudest scream.
It echoes in her absence.
