Her Plea
Listen...
Do You Hear That Sound?
The Sound Of One Girl Pleading,
Within An Endless Crowd.
She Begs Of You To Listen...
Yet, Her Words Don't Seem To Matter
Her Voice Being Drowned Out
By All The Wicked Clatter.
She Tries To Move Closer...
Trying To Reach Out
Yet, She Is Held Firmly In Place,
By The Chains Of All Your Doubt.
She Tugs And Pulls, Trying To Get Free
The Bands Cutting Into Her Skin
Making Blood Flow To Her Feet
Though No Matter How Much She Tries
The Bonds Still Hold Her Fast.
As She Watches You Listen To All those Around Her
Believing Their Lies To Her Facts
Falling To Her Knees,
She Silently Begins To Cry;
Her Words Alone Not Enough To Matter
As They Are Swallowed Up By All The Lies.
