Her Plea

Listen...
Do You Hear That Sound? The Sound Of One Girl Pleading, Within An Endless Crowd.
She Begs Of You To Listen...
Yet, Her Words Don't Seem To Matter Her Voice Being Drowned Out By All The Wicked Clatter.
She Tries To Move Closer...
Trying To Reach Out Yet, She Is Held Firmly In Place, By The Chains Of All Your Doubt.
She Tugs And Pulls, Trying To Get Free
The Bands Cutting Into Her Skin Making Blood Flow To Her Feet Though No Matter How Much She Tries The Bonds Still Hold Her Fast. As She Watches You Listen To All those Around Her Believing Their Lies To Her Facts Falling To Her Knees, She Silently Begins To Cry; Her Words Alone Not Enough To Matter As They Are Swallowed Up By All The Lies.

Liked this one a lot the "earless crowd"... "her words alone not enough to matter" very sad and moving... how much time do we all spend in this dimension, too much.

A very emotional and deep poem. It makes want to help her and try to bring her happiness back. Also, when we are not corresponded, it feels like the world's weight is on us, but, like the phoenix, we should be reborn and rise up to burn all strains. When a bond gets broken, it is hard to communicate with such an undeserving person that does not appreciate what was given... A very good poem.

Hi, Cheylynn. I like the form you used. I just wanted to pick up this sad woman and tell her, "If he doesn't believe you, walk away from him." Without trust...there is Nothing! Well done.
