Her Pillow Case Still Soaked In Tears

I woke up alone today For the first time in twenty years; My wife has gone away Her pillow case still soaked in tears. We had made it for many years Through the tribulations and the trails; How often is a good marriage Brought to an end by the death of a child? He died of a rare disease; That was, of course, no one’s fault, But how to cope with the loss of your son Is something we’re not taught. She couldn’t stay and look at me Without painful memories; So packing her things to leave Seemed the only remedy. I woke up alone today For the first time in twenty years; My wife has gone away Her pillow case still soaked in tears.

how poignant can this get, joe... a searing write that is given more impact by punctuating the last lines through repetition---- a drilling ending! lovely! :) huggs, nette

this poem reminded me of him, and I wanted to share that information, his kids need him, and will be seeing him more like divorced parents do..no more bachelor living..that is being removed consider that prophecy

hardly likely that she did not argue his decision as his blog says since she tried to commit suicide when divorce papers were served, God is correcting his grave mistake of leaving her 500 miles away..that is to far, and should be illegal anyhow, their should be a KM limit..and God is going to make sure he sees his kids more as he should be

his dream was not of God the flying dream, it was only a demonic entity of wanting freedom like a youth, part of his mid life crisis along with the adultery..his kids need him closer so a move is going to happen..he will not gain youthful freedom consider that prophecy

sad poem, I know a man who fled his wife and left her 500 miles away with three kids so he could lead some sort of mid life crisis, away from his kids...but God is going to change that, he had some sort of demonic dream of flying..he only wanted youth again when his responsibilities must prevail, he will not gain back his freedom via prophecy
