Her Heart Dies

Her heart dies In my arms she cried Sorrowful tears Piercing through my armor of manhood Weeping like a widows final goodbye At her lovers sight Holding on so tight She held onto my soul A Silent whimper of pain Sound of heartbreak The sounding of wars first blow Of instant death Outcry to much to bear I am just mortal man Shattering Crystal imprinted Image of beauty A hidden smile Brighter than the sun Cloaked by the rain clouds Of the days of late Her eyes shined Like God's stolen gems from heaven Oh the torture to see her this way Broken at the sight Hearing for the first time In my life The sounds An angel makes When her heart dies.
