Her Bias Mask

Her name is familiar, most Everyone knows her, well, not the REAL Her: Because I can't prove what I know to be true, she gets Away with Snubbing me in her contests Many times I've thought about confronting her About it, but why bother when She’s not going to admit it or change? She'll Keep doing it, her mask of fairness, her shield 7/21/11 for "It's mask time" contest Susan Burch

Strong stuff! Obviously you have reasons to feel this way. Any contest judged by just one person is bound to be subjective to some extent, if only in the fact that the judge has his or her own preferences. I try to view these contests as little more than a bit of fun, but we all like them when win! I hope you feature in the winners' list with this one! Love, Robert.

Susan, this is quite a strong statement you've made. I've found the only way to avoid bias in judging contests is to ask that no names be placed on entries. I have sensed this "bias" as well and don't enter contests sponsored by those who only reward their friends. I'm sorry this has happened to you. Best wishes in the mask contest with this eye-opener! Love, Carolyn

STRONG stuff, Susan. way to show your feelings. I think I know a mask or two like this one too! Just you hang in there. Most of the judges DO try to be fair. LUv, Andrea
