Help Them To Understand
We brought the inspirations passed
down to us by the generations
and taught weakness in some politically
religous way.
I am sure I backed it all up with stories
of legends, men who heard the words
of the creator, in those days they were called prophets
but today they are schizafranics.
We bumped shoulders in the mall when
Christ time came, on a unknown day before the
weekend, as we carefully watch the nasdaq rise and fall.
Help them to understand
Pretend they are children from a different world
open all the right books and all the right papers
But be sure if you can
At the end of the day the lesson doesn't lead to
some kind of bank.
