Hello Mr Hare
A glance toward the window
A hare, I stare, he stares
A moment we share
He ran
A passing glimpse
I hoover like the good wife does
A shadow I do spy
He's there, that hare, right there
I try not to care
He ran
A passing glimpse
Sweep away the endless leaves
A rustle jolts my eyes
You there, brown hare, we stare
I try not to scare
He ran
A passing glimpse
I sit and wait I barely breath
The sight amazes me
My hare, his hare, a pair
Of I they were aware
They ran
More than a passing glimpse
