Hello January
Hello January,
As my Dad would say, "Hey there, stranger!"
Do you recognize me? I think maybe
I'm different from last year
Hello January,
This year I learned what freedom meant
And that there is not only "freedom to;" additionally
There is "freedom from;" it's seems rare, to be truly free
Hello January,
This year I decided the meaning of life is passion;
The best of humanity are not the successful or wealthy
But instead the ones who have passion in their actions
Hello January,
This year I learned how to pray; I opened a door
To look for myself and ended up finding God
And then, of course... I found something to pray for
Hello January,
July introduced me to the love of my life
And he's absolutely beautiful, and completely,
Perfectly... mine
Hello January,
I can't begin to tell you all I've learned
But I learned to play the ukulele
Since it's the happiest sound you've ever heard
