Heavenly Soul Mate
Does my beloved soul mate still see me
When he glances down from heaven above
On our blue orb can he find a girl so wee
A young lass who hung on his every word
Can our future reunion he foresee
If I cry out his name, will I be heard
Our Earthly time, albeit far too short
Has carried me decades beyond his death
Will he still be my most chosen escort
In heaven’s grand dance floor where angels sing
As time passes, I still count every breath
Does he know I still wear his wedding ring
Can he hear my laughter and share my glee
Knowing he above others I preferred
