Heaven On Earth
As children, we’re told of Heaven, the place;
The final destination, decorated with grace.
I see, now, that may have always been true
But, I’m also in Heaven when I’m with you.
Angels, we’re told, have wings set for flight,
With hearts so pure, they’re Heavens delight.
I see, now, that may have always been true
But, no angel above, could steal the light from you.
You see, I see, what I feel in my heart, my being
When I look deep inside, it is you that I’m seeing.
Each thought of perfection and love that abounds
Is reflected in your smile and love that surrounds.
