Heaven Nor Hell
When i step down this path,
that haunts me with questions unanswered
a question of glass, and of certain reach
yet i will not reach?
so then what will it bring,
a symphony for birds to sing
or maybe the halting
of the hearts beating
but when that is so true
that it cannot be denied
dare i hide
from laughter and dismissal
from the objections and conclusions
this i choose to hide
rather than be smitten to heaven or hell
remain therefore in my limbo
and if i do reach
how well will my arm stretch?
what if i do catch
or what if a fall will break my neck
you may call me by the name that is mine
i am no coward, just simply satisfied
with a question left unanswered
rather than the sweet serenity's goodbyes
