Heaven
Heaven is a world above the stars
without hate and without wars.
There is no fear
for God is King way up here.
No poverty or crying,
or sick people dying,
No merchants of sin,
only love within.
No children without mothers,
fathers, sisters and brothers.
No friendless
or homeless,
Everyone really loves each other.
No punishment is needed for there is no crime,
and all of us have plenty of time.
Time for love
and time for laughter,
And life is fun
in the Everafter.
There are no fights way up there.
Singing and joy fill the air.
There are flowers and trees
and deep blue seas.
And in the grass the children play.
There are mountains and clouds and the sweet smell of hay.
The birds still sing and the angels hover
above our heads around each other.
The animals are tame
and people the same,
And contentment will be
the love God gives to you and to me.
