Hearts Grave
I went into that place of passion
And saw what I had never seen
That the Gates to the Heart of my Love were shut
As if there, I had never been
And into the darkness, the circles bound
Where the flowers of Love once grew
And, try as I would to open those gates
It was something I could not do
And, looking past the mist of crimson
Into the Temple of my Heart
I saw that its court was filled by a grave
With a tombstone, at its start
And I saw that the stone did bear my name
As I knelt down upon the green
For the Gates to the Heart of my Love were shut
My Hearts grave is filled with pain
For all those things, for everything, for nothing
And a man
For I have become in the Heart of my Love
Just another Man
