I'm a notorious name forgetter, Caren! It's age, I know. At least it's a legitimate excuse. I also forget faces I haven't seen in years, like the lady I used to know when younger and who tapped my shoulder in a wine shop. Remember me, she said? I hesitate and said no. She gave me a very dirty look. I repeated: Sorry, I can't place you. Another dirty look. Then she mentioned her married name and instantly I knew who she was. I would have remembered her much easier minus the extra 100 lbs! / M

in my case, I always forget the persons name , even what they look like. So, I am always having to apologize and it isn't because I up in age, but I've always have been that way; maybe because I've always look down never up. But guess what I'm not sorry because I'm always finding stuff :)

I truly think people do not realize how important it is to learn a person's name and use it wisely.

Something omitted I presume? This is a lovely way to remember, a nice verse. We do forget things, at least I do, stupid things.

I was thinking about how important it is to write a missive explicitly to a particular person, not a form letter that says "To Whom It May Concern," actually. Ha!
