Heart Without a Home
When dreams are just an enigma
And hopes and desires turn to dust
When you lonely heart only wanted love
But all others wanted from you
Was lust.
When you feel the walls close in around you
And there's no place left to run
You live your life in limbo and darkness
In a war that can't be won.
So I had everything
But everything was still not enough
You dwell in the stench of the gutter
Ready to give up.
For love was always for others
And not for the likes of me
My face maybe smiling
But there's so much more inside
You do not see.
The really sad thing is
I could really make someone happy
Beyond their wildest dreams
Money and riches mean little
When you heart bursts with pain
And you burst at the seems.
And so I may as well face the painful truth
I am destined to die alone
Lets hope it's sooner than later
My heart will never find home.
