Heart Gentle Eye Mindful

Heart Gentle, Eye Mindful On a quest of eternity’s profoundly puzzling silence… Passing uncounted glorious galaxies On a flight finding Discoveries in outer-space’s still expanding Possibilities — with dimensions unfolding out of infinity’s appearing at first sight, essentially empty… But, be still and listen… It is written, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen…” And believe how from the all of non-existence, preceding even the light and darkness… To will creation from the surrounding oblivion, God rose — with His heart gentle, eye mindful, and soul seeking — To issue The genesis of All Life In His image with The first breath/the first word… for the contest Heart Gentle, Eye Mindful, sponsor Unseeking Seeker

Sally, I did read it again and your comments too. The site makes it easy to not do as we intend, so do not worry. We have all not had the text be what or where we want it to be. I sense from this that you have given yourself a mission. The universe is so big and awesome that reaching any of us to deliver the message you have is a remarkable feat. I will be celebrating your poetry for as long as I can come to your corner. It is just so heartfelt and elegant. You inspire me.

readers…it is my humble privilege to attempt to edify our holy Lord & expand His kingddom by art & poetry & compassion. Yes, what i attemt to express heartfully here is: In all His glory, even God felt Need, God by & thu the 1st Word (literally “Le” literally Christ)made ALL lifein His image, from fish to galaxies to us! Santan cancreate Nothing. Plus i try to impartthat when we create, we partake in a processissued by God. U shoceck defintions of Mindful & Issue

Typo of “attemPt” oops. Aplus, saying that our feeling Need AND a Need to create both come from being madein-His-image…

Sally, you're making me smile. You make it so easy to traverse the known universe in short order. And you put pen to the greatest mystery we have. Where did all this come from? Whatever answers we come up with will hopefully put us at ease. I love what you say.

Daniel, dear friend, the inspiration for this was John 1: 1, with the revelation that came to me that it isn’t just Man, but ALL in His image. The poem grew out of that… so dear to me that you like this one. Off to read you…….

Dear sweet sally! How nice to see you post and also for a contest, youv written so well! With exquisite alliterations too and diction, depicting what you perceive through this phrase in such a soulfully meaningful manner! I especially love the opening and also “ But, be still and listen… It is written, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen…” ” profound powerful! Best wishes. Empress,OH MY, thank you! Jesus said “It is written” (then quoted Torah & & Bible) on occasions of GREAT IMPORtance, like when he fought the devil. Using it here, i am attempting to impart that our Faith should extend to those things we don’t know to declare as facts but whichby Faith, we should understand as Realities, such as other gLaxies where a life form is,,,such, too, as God.vadded my own comment wish you’d go back to read. Thanks. My love 2 you!
