Hear My Cries
Awakened by a devil's pawn
Her drunk lips fumbled like that of faun
Arguing her case of insanity
What was said brought upon a sickness inside of me
Cursed it all and left her where she drowned
In resentment, her heart still beckons and resounds
Warning to all
my anger draws thin
To the slurred lips of drunken men
Questioning my worth
How blind was she
With flushed eyes. Slithering in her own mirth
Everything that is given must get a return
Gifts given to you are from your father alone
And so know this story, seared of sadness in my very home
I will glorify my father, till I'm nothing but bone
I will not discard this gift of art given to thee
So I patiently await,
developing my relationship with eternity
