He Whispered My Name

I almost gave up, Then He whispered my name I almost went off the trail, Then He whispered my name I felt unwanted, I felt unloved, I felt like I couldn’t go on, But then He whispered my name, He told me “it’s not my time” He lifted me up, To face a new day He took me down to the valley To show me my strength Then I heard his voice “I knew you could do it”, A whispered refrain… You just got to believe Just a little faith that is all it takes, Now even when I’m down in the valley, I have reason to smile, because Even down in the valley, My strength is renewed, Shaped into the form, He knew I could be, He continues to whisper my name…
