He Sings To Me

Energy is flying in the room Green, blue, red, yellow flickering lights Hot and sweaty peoples standing everywhere Sweat dripping down my nose Palms are moist and shaky Shouting, clapping, screaming Looking over peoples shoulders Moving my body left to right Backing it up like his dancers Reaching my hand out to grab his leg Please touch my hand, Please touch my hand Sing to me, sing me to sleep Singing as if no one is watching Looking in to my eyes singing his lullabies Slowly drifting to heaven to peace While finding closure to all my problems Shift change in tempo A transition to bouncy steps One, two, three Singing along off key Trying to match his seductive noises Transferring his love to me Falling into infatuation The greatest singer of all Drinking gin and juice and alcohol Reminiscing all the love I recall Singing is the greatest noise to us all
