He Said

He said, "I can not tell you how i feel. It's just not right, You dont belong to me. But gaze up at the stars and you will see Magnificence and beauty, quite surreal. Look up and see the moon of yellow gold That lights the way when all the world is dark It shines bright like the love within my heart Now weeping for a hand it can not hold Then think about how vast the universe Beyond the moon and stars. the endless space And when you see the tear streaks down my face You'll understand why this love is a curse." by Daniel Turner 3/3/23

Beautiful! Your poem paints a beautiful portrait of undying true love. I easily can see a portrait painted in your beautiful words. A hand reaching out, like one I personally once refused to see, but finally, I saw it, grasped it tightly in my own, and trust to never let it go. I love this beautiful masterpiece <3

Utter desolation shines through in this luminous piece. I love the rhyme scheme too. ABBA is not one I have often used myself, but it really works here. I was compelled to read this one over a few times. Sad, but beautiful. Nicely done.
