He Passed By

Somewhere In a moments gaze Where the wind only a breeze The river flows in harmony There, where we did sit Our hearts felt it all, we heard it A familiar echo it was He had been there once before His special touch he did leave Our mesmerized hearts searched Hoping only for a miracle Deep down the truth kept haunting Indeed he was gone We knew he was gone for good Like a fleeting dream, he passed But something of his did stay We don’t really know what it is But it glows in our laughter It rekindles our memory It lives in us, it never dies And something of us he did take Though what it is I cannot say
