He Knew No Darkness

He knew no darkness for eternity before No separation from the Father and the Spirit in unbreakable accord But freely out of love for the children of the fall Such an agony and horror through the holy wrath of God on the sin of man outpoured In his sinless undeserving perfect manhood without murmuring he bore. Now full of splendour eternally he reigns as Lord In exultation with the Father and the Spirit incessantly adored The mystery of grace shall ever be explored The wisdom and the mercy and the boundless love of God in the spotless Lamb declared shall be wondered at unceasing by the angels and by new creation evermore. 4.96
