He Is Supreme
I have been alone in the stony dark
Worldly deluded and in cycle wondering
I have been walking in the thorny path
Weakly and in unprofitable wandering
But today the lord is my light and my salvation
In Him I have found a comfy home
In his right hand side, I am stationed
So I will glorify him with my body and soul
(So sisters let’s praise him
Brothers let’s worship him
Everybody let’s glorify him
For he is the supreme)
My spirit was like water draining away
I was dirty deep inside my bone marrow
My heart was like wax melting away
I couldn’t even recognize my soul as my own
But since I found solace in the lord
He had cleanse me and set me free
And my whole being is of newly born
So I will sing worship and praises unto him
(So sisters let’s praise him
Brothers let’s worship him
Everybody let’s glorify him
For he is the supreme)
I never knew I will see hope in tomorrow
Nor will I ever be without pain
I never knew I will be without sorrow
Nor will I ever see the end of the hateful lane
Until I got hold by the lord’s mighty hand
and He straightened me so I can do all things
He got me placed in his plentiful promise land
And now I can climb the highest mountain
(So sisters let’s praise him
Brothers let’s worship him
Everybody let’s glorify him
For he is the supreme
