He Is Me and I Am Fine
He is me and I'm ok.
I'm really fine, this life of mine,
and every face I say this rhyme
reflects this picture just in kind.
I am smiling, so are they.
The outside rhythm keeps in time.
The outer me just stays in line.
I'm gritting teeth but outside me is always fine,
and they can't see if I close my eyes, because
they are all a figment of what I see,
and when I grimace I'm not right,
but outside me wont make a fight.
That's outer me, I keep it light.
So I remind myself I am fine,
and through the trying, through the grind,
the happy me, the outer life.
It's all just fine,
and I can carry on just fine.
