He Died For You and Me

There before me was the cross Where Christ was crucified He gave his life on Calvary So we could live in paradise Tears began to roll down my face In my life, I'd made many mistakes There that day He'd taken my place He forgave me, my sins He did take They were washed away by His blood He shed for me that very day There they took Him to the tomb Three days later, stone rolled away He had risen from the grave No longer in hell enslaved Went back to heaven to be Waiting for you and me
