He Did It All

He Did It All Written: by Tom Wright 12-3-2008 He painted us a sunset toward each day’s end That lurks somewhere in the western sky To brighten life’s way he sends a special friend Whom we love and intellect reasons not why He paints, for us, clouds up above; it’s true. All white and fluffy seemingly without care Then places them against a backdrop of blue So that we’re sure to notice if they’re not there He hung for us, the stars and moon so bright And he accomplished all this before taking his rest A reflection of his light throughout our night But something is missing until we claim his best
