Having a Sunny Day

I am going to write a poem about having a sunny day Did you know you can't have a sunny day until God gives you one? You can't have a smiley day until He is the One who gives it to you You can try to do it all on your own But you don't feel it You can say you already have it But you know He hadn't given it Yeah my friend You can try all you want to But you will be walking around with a scowl on your face Yeah that's God He wants you to know that He has you And He is controlling your destiny Does God mind you having fun? No Only when you know the fun is without Him Ahh who thinks that? You'd be surprised Some people think they are controlling their own destiny Some people think they can have whatever they want it That would be me Until I realized that everything I have is from God And that includes my sunny day Ahh many sunny days All - from the courtesy of God You don't have anything my friend They are all His Loaned it to you - borrowed Borrow for a purpose Borrow to bring in His name Borrow so He can be exalted Borrow so He can live forever in you Yeah so if you think you can have a sunny day without Him Look again
