Haven of Dreams
Haven of Dreams
As I drift off to sleep
I’m about to reach my safe place
My haven of dreams
This imperfect escapism is perfect for me
My sanctuary
My dreams create the real me
Who I am inside my real identity
Unlike my conscious being
My hell, my fears and anxieties
All at once torment me
I wish my dreams would follow me to my awakening
And destroy this path I follow
And all the darkness that follows me
So for now let me sleep
And trust my dreams will crucify this nightmare
