Have To Be One Step Ahead
For my heart to keep
One beat per memory in time
With my frozen pain
Have to be one step ahead
Of your lies and despicable friends.
Your rehab is not for drugs nor alcohol,
Instead a way to sneak in to keep
Your wings spread,
For the criminally insane.
In this , have to be,
One step ahead.
You can't trust a rat who will
Mate with his 1st rat cousin,
So, have to be one step ahead.
Strike first, never lose.
Predict the inevitable, never disappointed.
Better off dead?
Have to stay one step ahead
