Have Courage
Moving song.
Have courage
By Michelle Morris

Oh, to have courage
In a world of darkness
To stumble and fall
Through the chambers
Like a bullet travelling
Through a gun
It never ever
Breaks even
For justice is seldom done
And vengeance is all the rage
To be good and kind and pure
Takes enlightenment of ages
"I shall overcome" we say
To nobody in the room
For our spirit, it gets worn
Our mind eventually feels the gloom
Underneath our Sun
These violent delights are sought
Dead men tell no tales tonight
When violent ends are wrought
Oh, to have courage
In a world of darkness
To stumble and fall
Through the chambers
Like a bullet travelling
Through a gun
It never ever
Breaks even
For justice remains blind
And vengeance is God's domain
To be good and kind and pure
Takes effort and patience and grace
"I shall overcome" we say
And we try again each day
For our spirit, it needs hope
Our mind needs something to focus on
Underneath our Sun
These violent delights keep going
The dead live in coffins we bury
And the living try to cope with the losses
Oh, to have courage
In a world of darkness
To stumble and fall
Through the chambers
Like a bullet travelling
Through a gun
It never ever
Breaks even
Oh, to have courage
In a world of darkness
To stumble and fall
Through the chambers
Like a bullet travelling
Through a gun
It never ever
Breaks even
