Haunted Love

The woman comes to tend your soul, where first you wandered,  hand in hand. Sweet meadow; where wildflowers grow, walk with her, through your haunted land. Meet with your love, oh ghostly lad, enchant her with a cold, dead kiss. Pray, steal her heart, for she is mad, just one quick slice; oh, do not miss. Night terrors creep upon her mind, she does not fear, their deadly wrath. Your maiden walks, a step behind, the lurking demon, in her path. Forget the sweetness of her lips, long afternoons within your arms, Soft fall of hair, like minted gold, her fondness for, your manly charms. She walks for miles, o'er empty hills, to meet a love, gone to his rest. Beware, dear heart; the demon lusts, to tear your heart out, from your breast.

Good morning Jan, thank you for your kind comments and feedback. I apologize for the creepiness factor, lol, but in this case it could not be avoided. Hugs to you xo
