Hath a Humming Bird

Hath A Humming Bird To me, how lovely it has occurred, All the beauty that hath a humming bird, Always full of a continuous motion, Discovered was full of love and devotion. Theresa in poetic knowledge so wise Hummingbird flies through soft skies Up into eternity and you cannot find For it has left us forever far behind. Yet he still waits for each of us there, With beauty which is beyond compare, Both wings beating as they do persist How my humming bird will be missed. A lovely poem filled with the hope that you will see that hummingbird again... Very nicely written and rhymed, Jim. I enjoyed this very much!

Hi James I enjoyed reading your lovely poem and feel awed, to see in poetic verse, that my poem had been it's inspiration. Thank you for contacting. All The best Theresa xx

Hi James, contests draw me in and if a subject catches my interest I try to write between the hours I work in the day or my days off. I hope to write more when I am completely retired. I am quite interested to explore the various forms and styles of poetry. Have you always had an interest in writing poetry James?

Teresa, I have a major question. How do you ever find time to write poetry? I have to get up at five in the AM when no one is bothering me. Jim Horn
