"The fields are ripe unto harvest, but the laborers are few." John 4: 35-36
The inner cities are crumbling, crime, and murder, too Youth are bored out of their minds with nothing to do Where are the resources to help end the pain Of the abundance of murders, happening over and over again Gangs are their families and their support each day Where are the moms ~working? or day and night play Dads have disappeared, grandma has to fill the gap Sometimes there is a grandpa and sometimes zap Out on the fringes of the cities, rural life seems some better Crime is still happening, where the law is not followed to the letter The young mature men of today, step up and be a mentor Give hope and encouragement that you have in store Young women who have jobs and some time How can you help a person to keep down crime There has to be some kind of lessons you can teach Maybe how to cook, garden, or sew where the lessons don't preach

an informative and powerful write, Sara K. It addresses the sad state of affairs in many cities...I see some of these issues in Dallas itself, not necessarily in the suburbs. Politicians either ignore the matters at hand or truly don't know what to do. I appreciate the solutions you offer. Maybe you should run for office? Have a great evening, Sara

Thank you, Sara B, for stating that I maybe should run for office. I don't have the personality for that, and that ship sailed a long time ago. I am close to 80 and no longer have the health to do my housework let alone take on the responsibilities of a job leading a group of people. Glad you like my work and the ideas. Some of these ideas have been around but people want to get paid to do them in a government paid office, but volunteers are needed to handle all the children that need help. Sara K

Its sadly the reality that you’ve written about here in such eloquence. I wish the world will be a better place and politicians will find solutions for younger generation to be engaged in healthy situations. There has to be some kind of lessons, i agree. Such a profound write this is. Real talk. Pleasure reading this

IE, I live rural, so we don't hear about it here (I know some is going on though) as much but on TV in the large cities it is at least one death, robbery, or other crime every night and more on the weekends. Thanks for the visit and the insightful review. Sara K
