Harold the Bee
The dew drops sparkled on flowers and leaves as the moon was doing his job.
It was on this late evening, as day lay retreating, that Harold was called up to God.
As Harold flew slowly into the bright light, he felt warmer and fear soon escaped
him.
He saw fields that stretched on, faces once gone, and a new hope within him
awaken.
God said, "Harold, you have been quite prolific, but now your day has arrived.
Like your Mother and Father, and siblings before you, it is time that you sit at my
side."
He stretched out a hand, for Harold to land, and said, "my child, Harold of Bees,
your heart has been true, so my reward to you, is paradise forever with me."
At first, Harold paused, he was scared and confused, and a sadness eclipsed
his small heart.
But the Lord reassured him, "Harold, you are fortunate", for this day, your new life
will start".
And the dew drops sparkled on flowers and leaves, as the sun was doing her job.
It was on this great morning, as daybreak came dawning, that a light would be
born from the dark...
...in a bed, in a room,
with a new mother who,
held a baby,
a boy,
in her arms.
