Happy In Heaven

Are you happy in heaven Do the flowers forever bloom Does the sun always shine Is the air filled with sweet perfume Are you always singing in heaven Forever dancing…..feeling free Chatting and laughing with the Angels Drinking copious cups of tea Do you stroll through the tranquil gardens in heaven Amble through the picturesque countryside Exploring and collecting With the Angels by your side I miss you so much here on earth Such an emptiness since you left I do believe you are happy in heaven Eternally restful…. feeling blessed

Dear Deb......I often am moved by one line, one thought , one sensation as it is pierces my mind, heart or soul..... In this piece your question "Are you happy in heaven" moved me in just such a way. It made me ponder and begin to probe the emotional awakening these words bring to light. I enjoyed the poem, but that opening line touched me.

Dear Deb, so lovely to read another touching poem from you. This is so sweet as the questions are asked, pondered over, the happiness of the loved one now residing in heaven. But the loss is so palpable in the last stanza and sad. So much comfort can be found and taken from believing that our loved ones are resting at peace eternally in a heavenly paradise. Many will relate to this. Big hugs sweet friend xx

such a sweet and cheerful poem on heaven, Deb. I really think everyone gone before us is happy. It's only those beneath who are unhappy with grief. Also, time is probably totally different "above" and perhaps one day for them is like a decade for us!
