He is the one cherished by the child, The beloved within a mother’s heart, A man whom loves without set conditions. Loyalties champion of human compassion, Behold the strength holding his family together, The man we call father. Tolerance’s whispering voice of conscious choice, Endurance’s rock soiled shoulder to cry upon, if The troubling world becomes more than innocence Kindred can bare alone. Our leaning post that stands strong against the Storms of reality, and shelters us beneath his Devotional umbrella, amercing, merging the Family within loves perfect embrace, This man we call father. In tenderness’s loving, he cradles the fragile, Nourishing the delicate hearts that this man Holds most near and dear unto him, by toils Unconditional commitment, to waver is not An option, but thrive, achieve and succeed is The creed given by he, the man we call father. Bold of heart, the living embodiment of faith, Hopes everlasting light at the end of the Black tunnel, yet he holds our hands tightly Together always, until we all emerge safe At the other side and bask in sunshine Of loves flame, that he provides, This man known simple as father. Precious treasures these spirits belonging To this man, father, grandfather, husband, And friend, so much does he mean to us, This gentle being, for whom we all cherish And love, this man known as father. One special day a year, we give him thanks, Not with a tie, or shirt, or any other token Will do for he, but a hug or kiss is more Valuable to him, this man known as father. His hair maybe turning grayer, Wrinkles of worry are showing on his ageless face, But to us he shall always remain the timeless, Happy father’s day, to this man simply known As father.
