Happy Alone

Be calm at the aggressor The mason that slowly chip With a wooden mallet and chisel At my once unbroken surface Forget hurtful, sharp, untrue word Put distance between you Do not allow them to stick Black tar to my clean skin Avoid being dragged into madness They cannot wallow alone My company is sought after To wade in those shallow depths Choose your companions wisely To travel through this life When in moments of sickness Never a good time to be wanted Remember to be most true You are only you when being you No one should take that angry Happy alone over unhappy together
