Happy Alive
The object of my desire
You send my heart into the stratosphere
Waiting for your smile
Like waiting for the sun to rise
Dreaming of us
My mind a mess
With scattered images of you
Driving through the stars
Of opal & amethyst
Burning for you with a violet fire
Yearning for you like a sphinx
Our bodies & souls interlinked
In the night
Our passions come to light
Dancing across the sky
Playing us a lullaby
Happy & alive.
