Happiness Robbed
It was just another warm
summer in May
I lay by the sea side all day
Away in my thoughts I'd
disappeared
As I looked up at the stars
surrounded by the darkness I
much feared
Beside me she lay as she
stroked my beard
I could have just another
bottle of the finest wine
Because I lay down with
what was mine
For a moment I only
wished time would pause
A rose to one hand as the
other froze
Not because of the cold but of the love that
arose
For an instant death
seemed nothing but a p
conspiracy
Mysterious stories of truth and
controversy
I knew she was mine,we
dined just fine
Sipped the finest wine our
minds could find
Kissed like we were the
founders of love
But time flies and good
times fast come to an end
Age came so fast,but on
love one can depend
Alas!Her eyes closed so
soon,this time forever,the
moon and stars went dull
Death just robbed me of
my lover,my pal.
