Happiness of Love
Armed with the innocence of youth,
you protect my heart from harm.
And restore my trust in truth,
with your charisma and charm.
You light passion's flame in ways,
that truly make the stars hush.
And fan flames into a blaze,
triggering my pulse to rush.
Your sweet honey dipped kisses,
sugar coat my eager lips.
And a rainbow of wishes,
arch to the Moon as light slips.
Happiness has followed love
on its way back to my heart.
And lifted me high above
the doubts tearing it apart.
Your love will forever be
the mortar that keeps me whole.
For only it completes me,
bonding both body and soul.
I do not own all of this.
