Happiness
I searched for happiness in the jungles of life,
very eager to trade in my sorrow and strife.
I looked to the left...I looked to the right,
I searched most the day and part of the night.
Where do I look, I wondered inside.
Can it really be so easy to hide?
Then came a stranger who passed by my side,
my legs had grown weary, so I asked for a ride.
Without saying a word, he gave me a wink,
it made me start to wonder and think.
I'm looking for something that has no description.
It's only a matter of ones own perception.
What brings happiness to one,
may not work for another,
but you'll figure it out one way or the other.
