Happiness
Can you define happiness
Not a person, place or thing
Instead, a feeling of bliss
Overwhelming desire to sing
It's not abstract or concrete
But description of emotion
So many questions on repeat
As I go through the motion
Of trying to experience
And perhaps understand
How to harmonize adherence
Become in sync with the band
Not in my Cheerios
Doesn't grow on trees
I'm standing on my tippy toes
Someone help me please
They say it is a choice
One you make every day
They haven't heard my voice
Understood what I had to say
I say they are ignorant
They want scars to prove
Somedays I just can't
It hurts to even move
Judging and accusations
Seriously, give me some slack
Their blind to indications
Even a monkey can yak
Why is it so difficult
Just to wear a smile
Yet so easy to insult
I live my life on trial
