Hands
I look at my hands they've become old
battered by the ravages of time
They are still amazing to behold
They connect me with all that is mine
These hands have felt both pleasure and pain
Battered by the ravages of time
My fingers have wiped away the rain
I have held loved ones close to my heart
These hands have felt both pleasure and pain
On life's stage my hands have played a part
I happily reach them out to you
I have held loved ones close to my heart
I have joined my hands in prayer for you
Thankfully they follow my command
I happily reach them out to you
I have felt the Oceans and the sand
I marvel at the way that they feel
Thankfully they follow my command
In a way they make my world more real
I look at my hands they've become old
I marvel at the way that they feel
They are still amazing to behold
