Hand In Mine
I never knew a day so cold could crystallize my mind,
I would fly away into the night into another time,
I stepped into my field of dreams,
With a high brow and head ready to soar,
And when I took that first step,
I knew I'd be someone better than before.
Raving about a moment like this,
I knew would come in due time,
And when it did so rapidly,
I jumped to next In line.
I knew about the finer things,
My life would soon define,
And when in bold, it truly showed,
I needed your hand in mine.
Love like this you can't fake it,
A bond like this you can't break it,
there's no reason or rhyme,
Walk with me, I'll guide you,
Just put your hand in mine.
