Halo and the Horn
The halo and the horn
To know love,
I gaze upon the night sky,
majestic trails of cosmic colours,
left in the wake of the spiralling comets.
In perfect harmony they rolled through the heavens,
a symphony of blazing lights,
inspiring the cold hearted,
bringing life to the lifeless.
The journey
Of those comets,
hope, happiness, sadness and despair.
They sailed alone,
there paths so close,
Yet galaxies away.
pulled together
by the gravity of celestial bodies around them
both orbiting similar paths,
mirroring each other,
Until the connection...
There lines were to cross.
Like words written long ago
the halo and the horn will be one.
Now the path was laid,
the collision close,
many to be present.
The son in the sky,
people upon the ground
and mothers everywhere.
In peace they continued ,
Joining as one
Entwined and fixed
Circling round like dragons dancing
Together in unison they flowed
Eternal and magnificent,
they were gazed upon.
For a life time
Spent in the heavens
Did neither know happiness
Until together.
